About Emma Clarke
Emma Clarke is a UK-based voiceover and writer working in radio, television and new media.
Emma’s voice is actually one of the most-heard voices in the world, as more than a billion commuters hear her announcements each year on the London Underground – and yet most of those people don’t know her name.
Emma’s voice can also be frequently heard on radio and television – and in in-store announcements at many department stores. Emma has worked with many independent local radio stations as well as with BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 4 – handling not just voiceovers, but also continuities, reading poetry and even acting in dramas and sitcoms.
As well as being a leading UK voiceover artist, Emma is also an established writer – and has written for both radio and television, mainly for comedy programmes and sitcoms, including The Now Show on radio and Casualty on television.
Emma is currently working on several writing projects, including a novel, a one-woman play and a collection of children’s television shows.
