My voice plays a bit-part in 2 Sony nominations

Now I don’t mean to boast. (OK, I do). But some stuff I voiced this year has been nominated for this year’s Sony Awards. (This is the radio equivalent to the Oscars).
But let’s put my contribution to these award nominations into context.
I am one of the ‘branding’ voices of BBC Hereford and Worcester. I’m the bird who reminds you which radio station you’re listening to all the time. I read the scripts for promos for programming features, competitions, presenter name drops etc etc etc. It’s the producer who puts it together with music, clips and sound effects that makes the whole thing live and breathe. Without the art of a talented producer my voice is nought but a squeak…
So many congrats to the team at BBC H & W.
I can’t help but wonder if they’ll let me come with them to the award ceremony in the BBC H & W fun bus. Just in case, I’m a vegetarian and I don’t mind coming without a ‘plus one’...
